Analytics privacy

This notice explains the optional analytics used on Kleari's website. If you allow analytics, Google Analytics helps me understand which pages people visit and improve the website.
Your choice comes first
The analytics tag loads only after you select Allow analytics. Decline analytics keeps it off. Your choice applies for six months; after that, you'll be asked again on your next visit. You can reopen Analytics settings at the bottom of any page to change it. Declining after previously allowing analytics stops collection and removes this website's analytics cookies. It does not delete information already collected.
What Google receives
Analytics receives the public page name and path, the referring website's domain, visit timing, browser and device information, and a cookie identifier that helps distinguish visits. Google also receives technical network information, including your IP address, when your browser connects to its service. This information can be used to derive approximate location.
Kleari removes URL query strings and fragments from analytics page addresses. Unknown page addresses are recorded as a page-not-found view. Names, email addresses, contact-form messages and booking details are not sent by this analytics integration. Advertising features, Google Signals, search tracking and automatic form tracking are disabled.
Cookies and stored choices
If you allow analytics, Google sets first-party analytics cookies, including cookies beginning with _ga. Kleari configures their expiry to six months without renewing that period on each visit. A separate local storage record remembers your analytics choice. An expired record is removed on your next visit; you can also clear it through your browser settings. Browsing and using the contact form remain available if you decline.
Google's processing
Google processes analytics information using its infrastructure, which may be outside your country. Read how Google uses information from websites that use its services and Google's privacy policy for details.
Contact and bookings
Messages and bookings use the website's existing contact and booking services. The details you choose to submit there are handled separately from analytics. For questions about this notice or a privacy request, email lee@kleari.com.
